Fuzzy multi-attribute decision making method based on the fuzzy sets is an important partof the modern decision science, which has been widely used in multi-attribute decisionmaking fields. Considering a variety of intuitionistic fuzzy uncertainty of attributeinformation in the objective world, the traditional fuzzy set is difficult to express allintuitionistic fuzzy attribute information completely. In this paper, the intuitionistic fuzzynumbers are used in multi-attribute decision making methods, and three multi-attributedecision making models based on intuition fuzzy numbers are given, which are moreflexibility and practicality than the fuzzy multi-attribute decision making methods based onthe fuzzy sets in processing intuitionistic fuzzy uncertainty.First of all, considering the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation problem based on theintuitionistic fuzzy environment which is hard to be handled by the traditional fuzzy analytichierarchy process, a new kind of intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy multi-attributedecision making model is established by using the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers,and theexample of risk investment project proves the validity of the model.Secondly, combining aforementioned model with the TOPSIS method, the intuition fuzzyTOPSIS hierarchical multi-attribute decision making model is established, and the example ofrisk investment project proves the validity of the model.Lastly, for the existence of the different information dimensions in decision, this paper notonly gives a kind of decision making method to deal with the intuitionistic dimensionlessmethod, but also uses it to present a kind of intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS decision makingmethod based on entropy weight and applies in the supplier selection problem about thebuilding. The construction supplier selection problem verifies the model’s feasibility andeffectiveness.
