Study On Sustainable Development Of Mount Taimushan Sub-park In Ningde Global Geopark

The Establishing geopark is aiming at to protecting geo-heritage, popularizing geology geological knowledge and promoting the development of local tourism and relative fields. However, following after the a rapid development period of national geoparks, the process of applying geopark is accelerating, and more and more geo-heritage sites have become increasing, all above things which cause some a number of problems have emerged. For instance, the speed of applying national geopark application is out of line with service facility construction, the lack of laws for geopark protection are deficient, and the studies on basic theories for geoparks are weak. Therefore, the sustainable development within geoparks faces a big challenge.Based on the previous studies on geopark?s sustainable development and regional tourism development, this paper, through the study on geopark construction and local tourism development, considers that the geopark sustainable development and regional sustainable development affect and promote each other. Locally, the geopark sustainable development should be placed in the regional tourism macroscopic development plan, which could stimulate the local tourism development and relevant walks. In turn, the regional tourism development could pave a good way for the geopark construction.Firstly, This paper describes the topic?s background, the research significance, and studies the research methods and the situation of the research area contents, as well as a discussion on the relevant theories and study status. Based on the geopark theory and the research of geopark sustainable development, And then, this paper gives a brief introduction to the problems of Mount Taimushan sub-park, analysis the existing problems in the geopark development process. Secondly, according the tourism environmental accommodation capacity, the potential tourism market is analyzed, which is based on four elements, such as the strategic location, tourism-source market, the tourist prediction of tourists in next five years and service facility construction, the results indicate that the development prospects of the sub-park tourism is extremely broad. At last, this paper gives suggestions in realizing the sustainable development of the geopark by setting up the geopark protection system, forming the low-carbon tourism concept, building up the structure of tourism industry system and promoting the tourism contribution content to Fuding City.In conclusion, the building of the Fuding tourism industry system is a reliable pathway to fulfill the sustainable development of Mount Taimushan Sub-park in Ningde Global Geopark, and this system should include such aspects as taking the brand of the geopark as tourism attraction, bringing the management and supervision role of Mount Taimushan Administration into full play, and forming the theme of Mount Taimushan Sub-park in Ningde Global Geopark and the concept of low-carbon tourism.
