With the growing maturity of mobile Internet technology and smart mobile devices spread, the communication methods changes from single communication means as voice calls to the direction of integrating multiple communication methods such as video chatting, instant message, online conference and other combined multimedia methods.Mobile operator have taken more and more attention on unified communicatio n which integrated all new communication model into telecommunication service for us ers. These day, unified communication has been regarded SIP as a core protocol and mul timedia session based on SIP has been given more features of high real-time or powerful expansibility. With the rapid development of the number of users, unified communicati on will increasingly focus on the growing demands for concurrent processing of SIP request.Therefore, SIP based on multi-media session has important implication for the throughput and response time of SIP clustered systems in researchingFirstly, this paper introduced the background and significance of the subject, systematically analyses solutions for existing domestic and foreign system and SIP system of open source project. Secondly, this paper gave a detailed introduction on a key technical across the SIP Server Clusters and focuses on load balance technology. Combined with the characteristics of SIP, this paper was studied and comparison several projects for load balance technology. And on this basis, studying and improving the transaction-based load balance technology. Thirdly, the registration and location server has been separated from server nodes by utilizing the detached mind of logic function according to the SIP feature. Finally, systematically designed and implemented load balance node and SIP server node.
