Based On WEB Online Examination System Design And Implementation

With the popularization and application of CAI(Computer-Assisted-Instruction), on-line-exam attaches close attention as an assiting tool in vacational colleges. This paper analyzes practical teaching in vacational colleges as well as nowadays on-line-exam system, and based on WAMP, with the usage of WEB development mode, functional modules are designed and tested such as on-line-exam, automatic test paper generation, automatic scoring and exercise-arranging management. B/S development mode is used in this system. After being identified, the students are allowed to log on the browser to visit the exam system server, apply for a relative examination paper(on line at randon), finish and submit their anwer sheet within limited time. The system will give scores respondingly and automitically. This system has high commonality for different subjects and it is easy and practical to add and manage different subjects at the same time.On the strategies of automatic test paper generation, several stragegy algorithms are discussed in this paper, such as preference strategy, random strategy, genetic algorithm straytegy and so on, each of which can be flexibly used with their own characteristics and applications.This system is not only used for final firmal exams, but also usual practices when the students can practice a lot to improve their interest and abilities, and is a good way to evaluate students from all its aspecs and from multiple perspectives.
