The audience behavior rehearsal and simulation is an innovative application which implies the technique of Computer Simulation and Virtual Reality on the organization work of large-scale activity. To solve the current problems existing in the large-scale activity, such as inefficient organization work, unscientific and not intuitionally audience behavior rehearsal result, we proposed a large-scale activity audience behavior rehearsal and simulation method. The main work and contributions of this thesis are listed as follows:(1)According to the main problems exiting in the organization work of large-scale activity, we introduced the main functional requirements and the architecture of large-scale activity audience behavior rehearsal and simulation system.(2)We made a study of seats distribution generation based on rules; to meet various demands in practice, a blueprint-based seats distribution generation is also proposed. It has been proved efficient generation by combining rules and blueprint.(3)The large crowd evacuation simulation was studied from the aspects of time efficiency and data accuracy. We introduced adaptive path finding method, efficient collision avoidance method and density-based crowd simulation method.(4)The five-layer architecture was proposed to design and implement the system of large-scale activity audience behavior rehearsal and simulation. Virtual seat modeling, virtual human modeling, geometry entity modeling, priority modeling, evaluation index modeling, match modeling were studied. MVC design pattern and Polymorphism control strategy were adopted. As so far, it has been applied in the organization work of Chinese people’s Anti-Japanese War and the world anti-fascist war 70 anniversary of the victory.
