With the application of Zigbee technology more widely, its security is increasingly becoming the focus of attention. Randomness test is an important means to study the safety of cryptographic algorithms, Zigbee protocol for randomness tests,how to choose and combinations, as well as improvements to existing algorithms have become a serious problem.To select the Zigbee protocol Randomness tests method, this paper makes a detailed analysis on the representative test method, presents a selection strategy for Zigbee protocol based on randomness test algorithm. It should include three aspects which are the screening ability, redundancy, and complexity of the algorithm. This strategy prefer to lower complexity of the algorithm and higher screening ability test algorithm set while reducing redundancy between algorithms. This strategy can significantly improve test efficiency; make the test more scientific and persuasive.In order to effectively identify the Zigbee protocol is encrypted and encryption strength. In this dissertation, the limitations of the Binary Matrix Rank Test purely judgment randomness based on the matrix linear relationship are considered. Combine Zigbee network, starting from the randomness probability matrix elements, improve the Binary Matrix rank test matrix to the Matrix Probability Test. And reasonably organizes and divides test modes, proposed security tests method of Zigbee protocol based on matrix probability test. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm has less error and high reliability, and effectively detect whether Zigbee protocol encryption and the encryption strength Zigbee protocol. And the test using NIST evaluation conclusions, not only the test results are more reliable, but also to make the test more standardized.Research randomness tests method of Zigbee protocol have important theoretical implications for Zigbee technology and the Internet of Things(IOT) of information security evaluation.
