Reversible logic circuit is the basis of new research field, as quantum computing and ultra-low power integrated circuit. Reversible logic circuit designing, especially the reversible timing logic circuit, is the frontier and hotpots of current international research. In this thesis, methods of quantum reversible sequential logic circuit designing are discussed, mainly includes:(1) Analyzing of the researching status and background of the quantum reversible logic circuits, sketching the necessity and feasibility of the logic circuit, and brief explaining the basic performance indicators of the reversible logic circuit. In order to research the reversible logic circuit further, we describe the differences between the combinational logic circuit and the sequential logic circuit.(2) Designing the reversible flip-flop. The reversible trigger is the basic constituent unit of reversible sequential logic circuit, in this thesis we design and optimize the RS flip-flop reversible based on the RS flip-flop existing by reducing the cost of quantum gates and trash-bit output. Analysis results show that the designing of the reversible RS flip-flop having less cost of quantum. At the same time, we also designed the master-slave JK flip-flop and the reversible master-slave T flip-flop.(3) Designing the reversible sequential circuits, especially the design and optimization of reversible registers and the reversible shift registers. Since the reversible D flip-flop is the basic component unit of the reversible register, in this thesis we design and optimize the reversible D flip-flop, and design the reversible registers based on the reversible D flip-flop. Then, we design the reversible shift register through the CP cascade. The results show that the design of the reversible shift register has less quantum logic gates, smaller trash-digit. Moreover, we also design the reversible logic counter. Reversible logic counter is an important part of the reversible sequential logic circuits. Based on the existing work, we design positive edge-triggered reversible T flip-flop, and then, we design reversible asynchronous counter and reversible synchronous counter based on reversible T flip-flop. Finally, we use electronic Y-branch waveguide switch(Y-Branch Switch YBS) to construct the reversible logic gates with less energy to change the state of the switch, and improve the existing YBS of the Toffoli gates.(4) Summarizing and prospecting, and put forward the deficiency of the research and the research direction of the future. We also analyze the research prospect.In this thesis, the exploratory work is stronger. We hope this thesis can help to promote and help the research for the design of the reversible sequential logic circuit.
