Design And Implementation Of Server Group User Password Management System

With the extensive application of computer information technology and the use of a wide range of virtualization technology, an enterprise level data center maintains thousands of operating systems running on the entity and virtual machines.The huge computer resource management requirements make automatic operation and maintenance management problems in recent years become a hot technology issues.In order to ensure the security of the data center open platform, and meet the requirements for internal and external safety supervision, the user passwords for operating system of the production environment need to be revised regularly,and passwords required to meet the complexity, length, no duplication, encoding irregular and so on.In the actual system operation and maintenance process, system administrators faced with many operating system, many users, low efficiency for artificial encoding and modification, difficulty to memory and use the highly complex and irregular passwords, low safety for storing passwords in electronic documents and other questions.To solve the problems of user password management of data center operation system, and to improve the system security, system operation efficiency and service level, this paper focuses on the research and development of a set of open platform server group user password management system, to achieve the centralized storage of user passwords, automatic modification, unified authorization and the automatic extraction of password to achieve system single sign on and other functions, so that technical personnel maintenance operation system without a large number of password, to reduce labor costs, to improve system operation safety and efficiency.This paper introduces the design principle, architecture implementation and the main security control strategy of the password management system, and gives the technical solution of the security and efficiency.
