Tianhui-1 satellite is China’s first satellites with independent intellectual property rights, it integrates the high resolution and multispectral and three linear array camera.The spatial resolution of Tianhui-1 satellite is up to 2 meters, the data has wide application foreground that can be used in the surveying and mapping, agriculture,forestry, urban planning, disaster evaluation as well as monitoring specific goals. The paper analysed the application of information extraction in the earth’s surface such as houses and roads extraction integrated sensor characteristics of Tianhui-1 satellite.Using Oracle GeoRaster managed the images with different time, different bands,different resolution, proposed establish database tables differentiate map border,administrative areas, time flows, sensors, classification of products and thematic map.The metadata managed in XML format, fully meet the fast index and efficient access of Tianhui-1 images. To achieve the network access of the Tianhui-1 image,designed a Web services system based on SOA(Service Oriented Architecture).To the user demand, in order to adapt to network service development trend by the Client/Server to Browse/Server,which is lightweight, designed the Web service system framework and related functional modules, and refined the service means and service content. Finally, it realized the image database management and network distributed processing and release. Laid a certain foundation for the efficient management and widely application of Tianhui-1 image.
