Cable TV in Qinhuangdao city has been developing for more than ten years, network function from the earliest to transmit a single analog TV signals, development to now transmission of digital TV signal, high-definition television signals, two-way broadband signal, can be described as closely follow the development of the trend. In order to adapt to the trend of history, the cable TV transmission network has also experienced a change from the coaxial cable and the cable network to the photoelectric mixing in the future, all of these provide advanced transmission mode for digital transmission. This trend promotes the development of multifunctional network digital signal, change the network model of cable TV transmission network to transmit a single television signal. The cable TV network in Q inhuangdao experienced such a process, with the advent of the information age, cable TV network in addition to TV program transmission, but also to provide broadband Internet, data lines, such as video on demand business interactions.Based on the analysis of Q inhuangdao cable TV network cable topology to the Qinhuangdao cable TV network transmission form of the design and the plan of future development. This paper focuses on the Q inhuangdao CATV optical transmission platform, and the transmission of uplink center within the system of planning and design, and completed the calculation of the system parameters used in practical engineering. Major completed design includes structural design of Q inhuangdao C ity cable televis ion trunk cable structure design, a light transmission platform structure design, secondary optical transmission platform, and centres in the uplink optical system structure design. And in accordance with the internal functions of each system divided into several subsystems, complete the design of each subsystem, realize the function of each subsystem. RF distribution system, optical transmission system subsystem includes two optical transmission platform, the design and function of center of uplink optical system, radio frequency distribution, RF hybrid subsystem to achieve. This paper focuses on the analysis and design in the cable TV network on return noise suppression scheme, and according to the practical work experience illustrates the through on noise find CMTS equipment monitoring methods to improve network maintenance work efficiency, guarantee the stable operation of the network.
