Full polarization SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR) remote sensing as a new method of access to information, providing more complete information about the scattering characteristics of a large number of targets, with a unique classification, target detection, and other aspects of the inversion parameters advantage. However, due to SAR imaging influenced by the terrain, resulting in a certain degree of geometric distortion, improved to extract the required information from the full polarization SAR data difficult. To enhance the full polarization SAR data value, through SAR image ortho-correction process to eliminate the image, such as foreshortening, layover and other geometric distortion, and ultimately generate an ortho-photo map projection located under the follow-up as classification, object detection and other processing provides high-quality image data.In this paper, the Huajiang area as a research area, select RADARSAT-2 fully polarization SAR data as a basis for data research, through in-depth study of the Range-Doppler(RD) positioning a model to simulate the SAR image forming process, and the original SAR image ortho-rectification, last full polarization SAR data polarization azimuth compensation. The main work is as follows:First, the analysis of the RD positioning model in different coordinate systems solvers;Second, locate RD model was derived in detail, we analyzed the form RD positioning model in different coordinate systems, to provide a theoretical basis for ortho-rectification;Third, the proposed right DEM(Digital Elevation Model) is rotated under the premise of a certain angle, positioning model based on DEM and RD SAR image simulation algorithms and simulated SAR image as a bridge, the original can not be associated with the DEM coordinate space original SAR image coordinate space to achieve the association eventually completed ortho-rectification original SAR image;Fourth, generate ortho-photos simultaneously detect and mark the area distortion occurs layover and shadows, image to extract the other thematic information material;Fifth, the use of external DEM calculate the azimuth of polarization, change in order to compensate for the slope of the terrain fully polarization SAR information caused.
