With the rapid development of the wireless Communication technology, many wireless communication standards for various application have emerged in large numbers. They have been widely used in different fields, such as cellular mobile communication, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN), Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), etc. It is very necessary to design a transceiver, which can be applied to multiple communication standards. As the first module of the receiver, the research and design of Low Noise Amplifier(LNA) are very important.The function of resilient to out-of-band blocker of wide-band LNA can save the dedicated filter in the receiver, which can decrease the area of the chip to save cost.The topic of this thesis is the design of resilient to out-of-band blocker wideband low noise amplifier. Fabricated in TSMC 0.18μm CMOS process, the proposed LNA employs capacitor cross-coupled common-gate structure to ensure it operate from 0.7GHz to 2.6 GHz. The performance of resilient to blocker is realized with the structure of impedance translation. This paper introduces the design of circuit and layout. The results of post-simulation indicate that S11 is lower than-19.87dB, S22 is under-18.44dB.The noise factor(NF) is below 3.48dB in the operating frequency range.The gain S21 is larger than 10.76 dB.The IIP3 of the LNA is 1.90 dBm. The function of resilient to out-of-band blocker means the gain of useful signal is larger than the gain of blocker.The gap of the gain is 10.16 dB in 900 MHz and 4.5 dB in2.4 GHz. It drains a current of 8.12 mA from a 1.8 V supply voltage. The size of this LNA is 678um×601μm. According to the results of the post-simulation, the LNA which is indicated of this paper achieve the goal of design. The chip have been sent to be taped out, and it will be measured when it is back.The design and research of wide-band LNA which is resilient to out-of-band blocker are meaningful to the development of multiple communication standards receiver, more improvements are necessary in the future research.
