With the rapid development of science and technology, the requirement of measurement results quality is increasing in many departments. Measurement uncertainty is a quantity sign of the measurement results and the usage of the results mostly depends on the magnitude of uncertainty. The evaluation of measurement uncertainty is heavy workload, term plurality, and it’s related to much knowledge of mathematics and statistics. It leads to a complex evaluation process. Therefore, how to realize the intelligent evaluation of measurement uncertainty is an urgent problem to be solved in the field of measurement.Aimed at these problems, this paper designs and develops the intelligent evaluation of measurement uncertainty based on web and compiler principle theoretical knowledge. The system is developed by using the model of three-tier framework and C sharp language. And it uses silverlight technology of NET platform to provide the rich graphics editing and visual display of formulas. The formula editing module realizes the automatic calculation of the relative data in the evaluation of the measurement uncertainty. So it contributes to the evaluation results scientific and accurate. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) Design of the guide to the measurement uncertainty evaluation. The measurement uncertainty is needed because of the high accuracy requirement of aviation, medicine and so on. In this paper, the process of evaluation is standardized by establishing a unified mathematical model. The design scheme of the guide to measurement uncertainty evaluation which is suitable for each field is proposed. Then it greatly improves the efficiency of the evaluation and the accuracy of the evaluation results.(2) Studying on the visual formula editing module. This module displays the formula in the way of "what you see is what you get", it can edit and calculate the formula and display the formula normally. It’s good for establishing a mathematical model. Then the complex formula calculation problem is solved effectively by use this formula editing module.(3) Design of the algorithm derivation on formula. The formula derivation algorithm is designed by combining symbolic differentiation with recursion. It contributes to achieving the intelligent evaluation system of measurement uncertainty.At first, this paper analyzes the issue of the measurement uncertainty evaluation and puts forward the design scheme of this system. Then, the basic information management, the source of uncertainty management, the uncertainty evaluation guide and the visual formula editing modules of this system are elaborated in detail. The visual formula editing module is the base for the implementation of intelligent evaluation of the measurement uncertainty. So the work is focused on the visual formula editing module in this paper. Because the implementation procedure of this module is complicate, it’s illustrated in the fourth chapter separately. Finally, the software test result is obtained according to the test scheme of the system. According to the test, this system is excellent in operating simply, perfect function, easy extensibility and it’s achieved the automatic evaluation of measurement uncertainty effectively.
