So how to measure the visual system space characteristics is particularly important. Contrast threshold is one of the important parameters, and Contrast sensitivity function also be an effective tools that used to evaluate the optical/photoelectric imaging system. With our material level is higher and higher, health problems become more and more valued, and Contrast sensitivity function also is the important basis of eye disease diagnosis.This paper according to our human visual system structure and Web theorem, design a human eye contrast threshold measurement by psychophysics determination of threshold value method. And have detected and changed the hardware and software repeatedly due to the equipment of the actual situation, at last the most appropriate test scheme is proposed. At the same time we design a suitable of software.The contrast measuring apparatus used in the present system, generates different contrast observation test charts in different background luminance and the spatial frequency. we make a software so that we can control all test by computer and input、output the tester information.In the process of the design and test the system, this paper have discussed and solved the encounter problems, in order that we can as far as possible to reduce the error of the results at last.
