Nowadays education comes into an era of information, and high-speed development of information technology overturns traditional education model. With the popularization of internet and intelligent portal terminal, mobile learning as a new digital learning method draws attention from the whole society. Combining interdisciplinary knowledge of education and computer science, mobile learning has the features of convenience, high efficiency and interaction. It can not only enrich teaching method but also stimulate students’ enthusiasm in learning and strengthens leaning effect. Based on contemporary education theory and lessons of vocational schools, the school of the writer raises a task of combining mobile learning method with the course of Car Repairing. To finish this task, developing of a mobile learning system based on Android is both necessary and practical.This essay follows the logical structure of raising the problem- analyzing the problemsolving the problem. Combining software project development procedure with the course of Car Repairing, the writer design and realizes a mobile learning system based on Android which is suitable for secondary vocational schools. Firstly, with basis on the contemporary teaching theory of “dual system of producing and learning” and combination of course characteristics of computer technologies and Car Repairing, as well as analysis of functional and non-functional demand, the writer designs the general framework of mobile learning system based on Android and programs the function module of client-side and server-side. Secondly, Android development technology is used on mobile-side to develop UI interface and realize core functions such as list items, online practice/exam, profile download and interaction. On the server-side, cloud technology and MySQL database are used to establish server-side framework and realize digital communication between mobile-side and cloud-side. Finally, by black-box testing technology, we come to the conclusion that the system operation interface is simple and easy to use. The feature of in time communication among teachers, students and enterprise team and diversification of learning evaluation are also emphasized, which meets demands of teachers’ teaching, students’ learning and enterprise classes’ judgment in secondary vocational schools.
