| The signal of Global Positioning System(GPS)attenuates sharply indoors, which can not meet the growing requirement of accurate Indoor Positioning service. Visible light communication(VLC) uses the illumination source to convey information, and it can be used for indoor location because of its anti-electromagnetic interference, good confidentiality, high precision, easy deployment and low cost.In this paper, a Indoor Location scheme based on VLC is proposed, which adopts smart phone of Hongmi2 as the hardware platform. The main work of this paper is about three aspects as follows:Firstly, this scheme uses the quick response(QR) code to carry the Location Identification(Lid), then the QR code is modulated to Light Emitting Diode(LED) array. When clients enter the light area of LED array, smart phone can identify the light signal without using extra hardware, and analyze the unique Lid. With the help of SQLite database, a detailed map and the information of specific product will be acquired.Secondly, this paper gives a feasibility analysis of the scheme. At the transmitting terminal, XMPlayer3 is used to modulate the Lid to the LED equipment. At the receiver, the QR code preprocessing is simulated by MATLAB. The results shows that the sender can modulate the LED array correctly and the receiver can acquire the information on the LED equipment.Finally, this paper introduces the design and implementation of the indoor location platform, including the selection of the sender hardware, loading and modulation of signal, the design of positioning software, and setting up the Android development platform. Besides it is successful to simulate and realize the location of shopping malls. In order to achieve the expected results and ensure the operation of software work well, each module of the software is debugged. And then it is significant to lay the theoretical and experiment foundation for the research of indoor positioning system based on VLC. |
