Fast development of wireless network and wide spread of smart mobile terminal changed our traditional life style. Its applications can be found everywhere, including electrical power system. Conventional power line patrol system has its defects, such as out dated management styles, slow and inconvenient in monitoring data processing and information feedback. People need to find new line inspection mode to replace the old one. In this thesis, we develop an intelligent mobile terminal based line inspection system. In this system, it acquires businesses and services by using the technology of mobile wireless telecommunication. We can improve the maintenance management level and inspection efficiency.The inspection system in this thesis is developed by Android system. It makes the line inspection movable by using the technology of wireless telecommunication and improves the reliability, efficiency and veracity of inspection.The main contents of this thesis can be shown as four parts:1.Determine the function modules of client to meet the need of daily line inspection task according to the internship experience in power station.2.Design the interface modules, database modules and transmission modules based on the function analysis of the system.3.Detail design of the system. We divide the interface modules into login interface, management point interface, equipment interface and project interface. We use oracle and SQL Developer to implement the common operations of the database table. Android, web service and json are used in realizing the interactions of data between front and back.4.Server draws up a plan, manages data and analyzes results in order to maintain equipment and check on work attendance.5.We make comprehensive and careful tests of every function of our line maintenance inspection management system. The results show that the design of this thesis is reliable and feasible, it can meet the requirements of users.
