| In industrial control, many different fieldbus communication are often required.In order tosolve a variety of bus and communicate with each other bus standards which can not be coexistence, and promote the continuous development of industrial technology field, we need to realize different communication protocols conversion between each other,and then complete the data transmission between heterogeneous systemsAfter studing the Ethernet TCP / IP protocol deeply, the related principles of the Modbus protocol, CAN bus protocol, being familiar with RS232 and RS485 serial communication, this paperdesign a multi-protocol converter based on the Samsung S3C2440 microprocessor converter to achieve the basic functions of the above transfer of data between multiple protocols.Embedded multi-protocol converter of this paper consists of hardware and software components. Hardware platform is based on S3C2440 chip design includes a power supply circuit, a storage system, reset circuit, clock circuit, JTAG interface circuit. Design of peripheral circuits include Ethernet interface circuit design, CAN bus interface circuit design, RS232 interface circuit, RS485 interface circuit and LCD and touch screen interface circuit. The software is based on embedded Linux operating system, the main work includes installation of cross compilation tools, configurationand migration of Linux kernel,bootloader and root file system, and the design of the driver based on loadand human-computer interaction platform,In this paper, the system implementsdata transmission between Modbus protocol and TCP/IP protocol,betweenCAN protocol and TCP / IP, betweenModbus protocol and CAN protocol,and achieves the desired results. It proves the feasibility of multi-protocol converter design, with good usability. |
