We Chat Official Accounts officially launched in 2012, endowed with fresh significance and functions for this chat tool. Also it turns scholars’ s attention from the new media represented by weibo platform to We Chat gradually. The We Chat shares the same traits with other new media, such as propagation speed, convenience and deep degrees of fusion, etc. In recent years, We Chat Official Accounts in Suzhou has developed rapidly, and the construction of Suzhou city image also has attracted the attention of many experts and scholars.In this paper,We Chat Official Accounts construction and the image of the city are chosen as the research subject, studying on Suzhou We Chat Official Accounts, trying to analysis the features of Suzhou city image and the new meaning of Suzhou city image transmission mode.By Comparing with Nanjing and Hangzhou, this paper discusses the approach in construction and communication in the process of city image that We Chat Official Accounts made. Think about how to build city image and strengthen the urban competitiveness by We Chat Official Accounts.Chapter 1:First of all, from the angle of the relationship between traditional media and the city image, this paper expounds the importance of media for the city’s image.Then discuss how the image of the city under the new form is to be made. Combing the status quo of the domestic and foreign studies on urban image, and then puts forward the research problems, represented by We Chat Official Accounts transmission on how new media construct the Suzhou city image.Chapter 2: By analyzing the traditional media and new media respectively how to construct the dissemination of Suzhou city image, this chapter leads to talk about the development of Suzhou We Chat Official Accounts. From the perspective of the economic value, discussing its influence on the image of the city construction.Chapter 3:We Chat Official Accounts can be divided into three types: the government, media and We Media. Through the case study method respectively to three kinds of We Chat Official Accounts, analyzing how do they construct the dissemination of Suzhou city image.Chapter 4:It is an important section of this article, the author will focus on the change of the propagation mode and the new characteristics of city image.Proposed that the Suzhou city image constructed by We Chat Official Accounts has following traits:visualization, diversification, entertainment and commercial characteristic. What’s more, its propagation mode also is different from traditional media in which great changes have taken place in interface language, participation way, and the route of transmission.Chapter 5:The author will put We Chat Official Accounts and the city’s image in the context of globalization. By comparing the same type We Chat Official Accounts among Suzhou, Hangzhou and Nanjing, this chapter analyzes respective concerns of the cities and emphasizes the importance of strengthening image. The last part is the reflection on construction and transmission of suzhou city image.All in all, the author investigate and analyze the construction of new media and the transmission of city image by taking Suzhou We Chat Official Accounts as an example., trying to find the problem and provide constructive suggestions.
