As an interdisciplinary technique combined of remote sensing and satellite navigation, Global Navigation Satellite Systems Reflectometry(GNSS-R) appeared in 1990 s. It has become a research hotspot due to its significant application of marine, terrestrial, and ice detection. In this study, The GNSS-R data visualization approach by using GIS software platform was proposed, which is based on the concept of 3S(GNSS、GIS、RS) integration. Then, the GNSS-R data in an experimental campaign has been visualized by this method. The main research work and conclusions are as following:1) The theory of GNSS-R remote sensing, particularly, the remote sensing model of river surface height, the velocity of river flow, and soil moisture were discussed. Besides, the model of GIS spatial data analysis was discussed in different aspects, such as data structure, analysis method, and GIS platform.2) GNSS-R data visualization analysis technique based on GIS has been studied, the requirement of the airborne GNSS-R data analysis has been proposed. We designed the first airborne GNSS-R data analysis system, and discribed this system, percularly the positioning, mapping, time and relationship function modules.3) According to GIS theory and GNSS-R remote sending data features, an airborne GNSS-R data visualization and analysis system was designed and realized, based on 2D and 3D GIS platforms. Finally, the applications of this this system was shown, by visualizing and analysing the data of a GNSS-R experimental champaign in Zhengzhou Henan province. This study indicates that the GNSS-R technique can be a useful data source of GIS, meanwhile GIS is a new data visualization and processing platform for GNSS-R remote sensing techneque.
