During the producing of LCD,there would be some defect panel,especially Pixel defect.In order to improve manual detecting efficiency and reduce the cost,I will choose mini TFTLCD(Thin Film Transistor-LCD) as my thesis’s research object. Through study of the detecting system for the TFT-LCD defect,we can achieve a high efficiency and a low cost automation testing.This thesis mainly focus on follows:(1)By analyzing the structure and the operating principle of the TFT-LCD,it is concluded that the LCD panel defect point causes and characteristics bad point distrib-ution.(2)By analyzing the defect point detecting system,it is concluded that detection algorithm based on the image processing,including image acquisition,image preproces-sing,image registration and defect detection. Based on the characteristics of defection point,we can improve the computing method,and then verify its theoretical correction on the MATLAB.(3)Using C++language in Visual Studio 2015 platform and developing the soft-ware for detection system.Based on the characteristics of defection point detecting system and the digital image processing technology, we can design a software process and develop VC++modular code.(4)According to the previous preparation work,I will conduct the experiment and analyze the experimental result in this thesis and compare simulate results which is got under the MATLAB environment to the real experiments which is got under the VC++environment.From the perspective of subjective and objective analysis,the experimental results show that the defect point detecting system based on the Mini TFT-LCD can fi-lter LCD panel which has defect point.What’s more,this system is more efficient and lower cost than manual detecting.
