Since the Federal Communications Commission in 2002 redrawing the wireless communication spectrum,ultra-wideband wireless spectrum band can be used in private communications. Ultra-wideband technology has been rapid development. UWB technology has a high communication speed, low cost and low error rate and some other characteristics that narrow-band systems cannot match. So for current wireless communication systems, the research and exploration of the ultra wideband antenna has a very special practical significance.However, research and practical high-performance ultra wideband antenna is the current hot and difficult problems. Within the operating band UWB existing narrowband communications systems, such as wireless local area networks(: 2.4~2.483GHz; 5.15~5.35GHz; 5.725~5.825GHz) and 802.16 wireless metropolitan area network(: 2.5~2.69GHz; 3.4-3.69 GHz; 5.25~5.850GHz), etc. They will cause a potential impact on the current induced by UWB communication system. Therefore, Multi trap ultra-wideband antenna has practical significance. It can be achieved between the many existing narrow-band communications equipment and cooperative communication.This paper first briefly analyzed and presented for ultra-wideband antenna related definitions, development process and research status at home and abroad, letting us for the entire course of UWB technology have a certain understanding. This is conducive to the back of our research on ultra wideband. Then a detailed theoretical analysis is made on some of the basic parameters and the analysis method of the antenna, and the UWB antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide is studied. The broadband characteristic of the antenna is obtained by etching the rectangular slot slot on the ground floor. The feeding structure of the antenna is fed by coplanar waveguide. Finally, the related parameters of the UWB antenna are simulated and optimized by using electromagnetic simulation software.UWB antenna design has been based on the use of technology in the radiating element etched grooves and added a short circuit tuning stub antenna technology wereachieved single and double trap notch characteristics. And the relevant parameters obtained by the analysis of its antenna to antenna-related effects, design a good notch effect of ultra-wideband antenna.Finally, using the existing ultra-wideband notch technology, design a pairs of wireless local area network(3.2~3.7GHz), 802 ? 16 wireless metropolitan area network(5.125~5.825GHz) and ITU-band(8.2~8.5GHz), etc. three bands of ultra-wideband antenna notch. Of the antenna parameters using HFSS for the corresponding optimization analysis, particularly with regard to the optimization can be achieved in the narrow band antenna notch characteristic parameter analysis. In the end, we create a corresponding physical antenna and do the corresponding tests.
