With the development of multimedia technology, more and more attentions are paid to the quality of display, and the accuracy of color is one of the most important indicator of display devices. The gamut mismatching is frequently occurred on account of the difference of display mechanism, emitting materials and manufacture process, which lead to different display result on different displays even if sending the same image signal.It is necessary to use color management to ensure the consistency of color information of images on different displays. A real-time color management method is proposed, aiming at the characteristic of high cutting speed of dynamic images. According to the principle of ICC color management, the look-up table between the RGB of displays is established by means of look-up table and interpolation. The color management is realized by three dimensional interpolation with look-up tables and the self-adaptive rendering is obtained by judging the character of pictures. Meanwhile, under the field programmable gate array, a real-time color management system has been designed. The experimental results indicate that the maximum/average color error of two displays before and after using this system are 14.56/5.08 and 5.4/1.83 AEuv unit, and the detail information of images is retained quite well by self-adaptive rendering. It can satisfy the system requirements of high precision, real time and stabilization. |
