Electromagenetic Environment Simulation For Flight Simulation Training

With the development of the computer simulation technology, the simulation training based on computer can simulate various battlefields at low cost, which is important to military training. The system described in this thesis is a subsystem of a flight simulation training for a military training center. This system first simulates all the entity electronic equipements in run-time infrastructure environment online real-timely,and realizes providing the interaction data of the entity electronic equipements for the the simulation training. The function of this subsystem is to provide electromagnetic environment simulation data for other parts,that makes the whole training to run in a more realistic battle environment. This system uses the functional simulation order to meet the real-time data transmission requirements. The specific works and contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. Each signal source model in electromagnetic environment is studied, such as radar signal model, the active interference model and passive interference model. Signal models and signal processes are programed with C language that makes the simulation run efficiently.2. The system is designed under the high level architecture(HLA) structure, which simplifies the program structure and transmits data among subsystems efficiently, and thus the real-time performance of training is improved significantly.3. The system is designed by observer pattern and mediator pattern, which abandons the traditional polling simulation model and improves the capacity of simulation objects.The geographic information system(GIS) and user interface(UI) are added into this system, which makes the simulation system more intuitive.4. The project is finished successfully through the software design of the above-mentioned works and the joint debugging with the whole system.The electromagnetic environment simulation system involves all kinds of electronic equipment, and realizes the interference and anti-interference training. This system can enhance soldiers’ ability in electronic warfare, which has significant influence on modern military training.
