With the development of wireless communication technology, the number of electromagnetic devices are increasing, more and more kinds of electromagnetic signals intertwined to form a complex electromagnetic environment. Under complex electromagnetic environment, the type of the signal to be detected is difficult to determine, in this case how to fast and accurately detect the signal or interference to improve the spectrum utilization and avoid interference, is the subject of this paper.First, we investigated the properties of complex electromagnetic environment, using MATLAB to build a complex electromagnetic environment based on these characteristics.Then, in order to quickly detect signal or interference, the author does research on fast detection algorithm. Based on the complex electromagnetic environment, the author combined rapid detection algorithm and short time Fourier transform to sense spectrum,and the MATLAB simulation results show that this algorithm can quickly and accurately detect interference.Finally, according to the shortcomings of existing rapid detection algorithm, the author proposes an improved algorithm. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm can more quickly detect interference, and the probability of detection has improved compared with the original algorithm.
