| Google released Android intelligence operation system. For its character of open source, free and based on embed Linux system, Android gained big supports of mobile manufacturer and amateurs, and spread vastly. It have became an intelligence device with much functions applied for live, study, and work. And the functions of Android get more spread and improve. The IC around mobile have been improved too, and become more integration and modulation. The Light and proximity Sensor will become a essential section of mobile phone. The IC manufacturer integrated both Light and Proximity Sensor into one sensor IC for easy to design in mobile phone with high integration.This thesis based on D80 mobile phone development. Develop and implemented the software of hardware abstract cell and driver cell on MTK platform. And test and verified the function of auto adjust back light and auto open and screen in call.This thesis first simply described the background, situation and the goal and significance of Android Intelligence Mobile phone. Then described the environment of Android mobile phone, The Android system architecture and Sensor architecture, the hardware theory and specialty. Made analysis with system and requirement, and make overall design with hardware abstract cell and kernel cell.And then, combine MTK platform specialty and Linux I2 C module, character device module, input subsystem module, and file options module, etc, to design and implemented detail design of hardware abstract cell and kernel cell, include hardware interface, data gather and convert, device access, data report, etc. So implemented related functions with Light and Proximity sensor for user. Test and verified system functions and performance.Created a unified interface, module and common develop method for Android Light and Proximity sensor.Made convenient for quick develop and integrate the Light and Proximity sensor in future project. |
