The application and research of MSN(mobile social networks) is nowadays getting more and more accomplished and significant, while the wireless mobile communication technology has made a great progress as well as the handheld mobile devices are getting more and more powerful and intelligent. What’s more, among all the research topics about MSN, data delivery is the most popular one which is based on the distributed communication architecture most of the time and rarely takes the Internet accessing centralized communication architecture into consideration. However, nowadays a hybrid network environment in which one can not only make an Internet communication but also make an offline distributed communication without an Internet access is more and more available to the mobile social users. Both of the two architectures have their own advantages and disadvantages respectively, so a pointed selection of the communication way will be bound to improve the efficiency of data delivery. Moreover, the realization of the distributed data delivery architecture nowadays is also rare, result to a lack of application platform for large amount of data delivery algorithm researches. This thesis takes a research on data delivery strategy for a hybrid MSN in which people can not only make an Internet communication but also make an offline distributed communication. And then a real hybrid MSN system is accomplished based on the realization of the classical MSN distributed communication method. Finally, the data delivery strategy this thesis designed is verified by applying to the realized hybrid MSN system. For the research about the data delivery strategy in hybrid MSN, this thesis first show the network architecture of the hybrid MSN on which one can not only make an Internet communication but also make an offline distributed communication. Moreover, data delivery model of the nodes is made. Then, the efficiency factors to make a data delivery of the two totally different communication technologies are abstract and quantized. And then this thesis raises the method of evaluating the data delivery utility of the two different communication way under both single receiver mode and multiple receivers mode, basing on the quantized factor value, the history behavior of the node and the help of the online server. Finally, a selection of the way to make a data delivery using the evaluated delivery utility is designed. For the realization of the distributed way to delivery the data in MSN, this thesis makes a deep exploration to realize SCF(Store-Carry-Forward), the classical data delivery method, which is the foundation of most of the distributed data delivery algorithms in MSN. Firstly, the idea of broadcasting the shared social information is proposed, and then utilizing the characteristics of the frame of the bottom layer in Wifi-Direct to make the broadcast, basing on the research about varieties of popular short-distance wireless communication technology. Finally, a detailed scheme of realizing SCF is designed, and the public interfaces are opened to all the data delivery algorithms in MSN.Based on the research above, this thesis designs a hybrid MSN system in which one can not only make an Internet communication but also make an offline distributed communication, combining the traditional centralized communication and the SCF realization scheme we gave. And this system is working on the moving devices. Moreover, the data delivery strategy to hybrid MSN we designed in this thesis is applying to decide how to delivery data in the hybrid MSN system. Finally, we compare the system with the simple online communication and the offline communication system. The compare result shows that the hybrid MSN system has better data delivery performance which verify the data delivery strategy this thesis designed.
