The Design And Implementation Of Student Charging Management Platform

It is a gradual process for university to achieve its own information construction. Currently, there is no such a comprehensive information management system to manage all the business of students. In fact, some universities are using several information management systems to manage the daily affairs and student information respectively, which results in the dispersed storage of students’ information in different channels. Meanwhile, the charging business is complicated, for the charging standard varies according to college and student type, and the fee charging of different students is managed in different ways. Therefore, it increases difficulty to the fee charging business, since it is difficult to collect and analyze the charging data and also hard to collect complete student information. The student charging management system is designed to solve the current undesirable situation. It has proposed effective solutions to improve the working efficiency of the fee charging business.According to the present situation of the fee charging business, this paper designs the student charging management platform by analyzing requirements of charging management and the overall workflow of student charging to solves the present charging problems, such as the synchronization between student information and charging information, the unified management of charging, fee distribution, and so on. The management of fee charging is organized in accordance with the process of "payment amount setting, fee charging, fee distribution" in the student charging management platform, and the platform updates students’ information by data exchange with other systems. The student charging management platform provides functions to set and import fee charging records as students’ charging basis, and also saves students’ payment records. In order to provide students with flexible and convenient way to pay, the student charging management platform provides online payment function in addition to on-site payment function. The student charging management platform completes online payment through data interaction with the current charging platform and manages the payment records to solve the problem that the payment information is not centralized. The unified management of students’ payment records helps to finish fee distribution. And platform provides function to calculate income items. In addition to solving the above problems, the student charging management platform provides systemic management and printing for bills. The platform also provides functions to query and analyze students’ payment information.Currently, the student charging management platform has been put into use to support online payment for tuition, accommodation fee and registration fee. And the platform also supports the management of payment information.
