Software defined network(SDN) is widely and rapidly from traditional data services network architecture towards the direction of the optical network development and that will add new meaning and value to the optical network. Optical network technical support SDN, you can make traditional data transmission and control layer decoupling, the optimality of centralized control, and provides development network application programming interface, users can define their own network policies, current control protocol and optical network structure can also be streamlined.SDN and OpenFlow agreement can the physical topology of the network structure and layer separation of logic control, so you can actually network resources in a virtualized, avoid directly dealing with the complex physical structure, to unified control and management logic layer, you can respond to a variety of network needs. OpenFlow data layer and the control level iso lation, you can flexibly control the network traffic, you can build high efficiency, energy saving and variable optical networks. In the light of large flows of data transmission networks, link failure will have a huge flow of data is lost, seriously affecting the network transmission quality, for both users and manufacturers will result in inevitable losses. Therefore, the effective failure and cost considerable link failure detection and link failure recovery scenario is essential.Paper from SDN and light network angle starting, for network in the chain road failure detection proposed method, using SDN work chain road and added of detection path, reference has some detection algorithm, design out SDN light network scene Xia of chain road failure detectio n algorithm(BRB-MTA algorithm), first consider work business requests, for requests of source bed and breakfasts node on established business path, at also as failure chain road of detection path. If these paths are not up to test all links in the effect, then added new detection path, to test all paths of the effect and establishment of the corresponding linear programming model and simulation of the algorithm, comparison algorithm execution efficiency and advantages from simulation results show the method in this article than the original method saves the cost of testing. Back to study the link failure recovery method, dual link recovery algorithm is proposed, this dual- link in a different part of the network for their failure recovery, based on Floyd-Warshall algorithm is proposed in this paper and the BFS algorithm Network Division method. Again in divided good of the part network in the reference has some chain road failure recovery method, design out based on generated tree(unified capacity Shi based on DFS of generated tree) of recovery path and alternate capacity method design, and proposed has corresponding of linear planning model, on special situation for has separate consider, proposed different of recovery method, last on paper in the of algorithm in specific of several topology instance in the for has simulation simulation, by simulation of results can see paper in the of algorithm reached has expected of chain road failure recovery effect, Exceptional cases close to theoretically optimal solution. Finally, this article summarizes, and point out areas for improvement and further work to be done.
