Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Network is becoming a more and more popular low-cost wireless access for its multi-hop, self organization, large range coverin and other features. But witch its increasingly wide range of application, Wireless Mesh Network explosed many problems such as the rapid decline in the quality of multi-hop links and and the low effency of spectrum resources. Focus on the low effency of spectrum resources in Wireless Mesh Network, this paper studied the channel allocation algorithm in Wireless Mesh Network.This paper introduced background and significance of the Wireless Mesh Network research at the beginning. And then reviewed researches of channel allocation algorithms in Wireless Mesh Network. And made a brief analysis of advantages and disadvantages of those algorithms.Then this paper introduced characteristics, features, application scenarios and standardisation of Wireless Mesh Network. And analysed three classic channel allocation schemes of Wireless Mesh Network and chose the static channel allocation scheme as the contents of this paper. And then made a brif analysis of structural model and work flow of ns-3 simulation platform.Then this paper analysed the constraints and problems to be solved of channel allocation in Wireless Mesh Network. And then analysed relationship of link interference and net connectivity. And from the standpoint to balance the connectivity and the interference of the network, this paper studyied the topology optimizing based channel allocation algorithm, which reduced network interference by reducing number of links that brings interference into the network while ensured basic network connectivity, so as to improve performance of the network. Simulation result on ns-3 simulation platform showed that performance of TOBCA is better than that of another topology optimizing based channel allocation algorithm SLCA.There may be inter-net and intre-net commucation models at the same time in Wireless Mesh Network.And with the expansion of the network, expenses of centerlized channel allocation algorithm increases. To solve this problem,this paper studied a Distributed-Cluster Based Channel Allocation Algorithm(D-CBCA). By node clustering, this algorithm can reduce expenses of channel allocation and guarantee connectivity of the network. Simulation result on ns-3 simulation platform showed that performance of D-CBCA is better than that of C-HYA.At last, this paper this paper summarized contents of this paper and suggested further research directions.
