Through-wall-radar(TWR) can be used to detect the moving human target in enclosed environment with multi-wall and help users to achieve the information about the unknown zone effectively and support them to make decisions. Because of the features of the TWR, the radar is applied widely to disaster-relief, anti-terrorism, street-combat, etc. In this thesis, the multipath suppression, target detection and location and moving target tracking, which are based on the real measured data, are researched for solving the multipath interference and unstable target. This thesis develops the work as follows:1. Based on the theory of radar electromagnetic wave, three kinds of familiar multipath model are established. The relationship between target and multipath is shown by the simulation models. Then, the methods of multipath suppression are proposed in the radar range profile and radar image and validated by measured data.2. In terms of target detection and location, the algorithms about the location of wall detected and the trajectory of target extracted are proposed on range profile. Moreover, aiming at the detection of simple target and multiple targets in enclosed environment, the image features in these situations are analyzed and the algorithms of multiple multiplication detection for simple target and the peak detection for multiple targets are proposed to solve the problems effectively about human target detection and location in radar image domain.3. For researching the issue about moving target tracking, the situation of simple target is analyzed and the target correlation algorithm is proposed. Then, the target-enhanced correlation algorithm based on binary image mask is proposed to steady the moving target. When a human target is moving through the different zones, the target-classified optimized algorithm is proposed to solve the relevant problems. In consideration of the realistic radar device, the traditional particle filter is used to track the moving human target and shown a good effect in simulation and real processing.This thesis studies the moving human target imaging and tracking about the realistic engineering technologies of TWR. Based on the measured data, the main technologies in actual radar detecting, includes the multipath suppression, target detection and location and moving target tracking are researched. These research results have a high value in the actual project and lay a solid foundation for the future research about developing the application performance of TWR.
