In recent years, the community’s concern about cloud computing continues to rise, a variety of scale business cloud platform has been built to provide services to users far away. In order to ensure the quality of service, the enterprise is willing to invest a lot of money in the purchase of bandwidth. Unfortunately, the effect is not ideal. In this situation, a product called "unilateral accelerator" came into being. The traditional unilateral accelerator has a remarkable effect in the network environment with high delay, but the effect is not so satisfactory in other network scenarios, sometimes it can slow down the transmission speed. FAST TCP is used as the kernel of the traditional unilateral accelerator, Traditional single-core unilateral accelerator can’t make the corresponding adjustment according to the actual situation of network,this could lead to that FAST TCP was applied to the environment in which FAST TCP performs bad. As a result,the efficiency of accelerator goes down significantly. In view of this shortcoming of the traditional single core unilateral accelerator, this paper designs and implements a kind of "multi core".Unlike single-core unilateral accelerator,multi-core accelerator can select the best congestion control algorithm dynamically according to different types of network environment,which makes up the defect of traditional single-core unilateral accelerator and improves the performance of unilateral accelerator.Firstly, this thesis makes a detailed research and test on the core FAST TCP of the unilateral accelerator, and analyzes the limitation of the traditional unilateral accelerator.In view of the defects of traditional accelerator, this paper discusses its own ideas and solutions.Secondly,the modules of accelerator are carried on the detailed design and implementation. The accelerator gives a more complete and concrete implementation method of FAST TCP. In the design and implementation of sample analysis module and scheduling module, in order to make the accelerator with high flexibility and extensibility, this thesis draws the practice of web server’s CGI mode on the accelerator,which improves the extensibility of the accelerator. Algorithm of scheduling used the method which combines history and current situation, makes both the response speed of the accelerator and stability be guaranteed.Thirdly, the performance comparison test of the "multi core" unilateral accelerator, single core unilateral accelerator and non accelerator system is carried out. In order to the objectivity of the results, each test of the three machines is done under the same condition repeatedly.By analyzing the results, the effectiveness of the multi core unilateral accelerator is verified.At the end, the thesis describes the deficiencies of the "multi core" unilateral accelerator and prospects the future work.
