As the rapid development of landscape greening in China, the amount of urban green waste, which is almost an essential component of the solid wastes, has increased year by year. For the high cost of production, the green waste is still disposed as green garbage nowadays, failed to make the most of its ecological value. In order to compute both the production and utilization of green waste, it’s necessary to build a green waste indicator statistical management information system, which is helpful for the standardization during urban greening statistics, scientifically, properly, and efficiently. What’s more, the existing statistical indicator system makes it possible to accomplish the project, together with computer technology and statistical methods.The Green Waste Indicator Statistical Management Information System is based on B/S framework. On one hand, it can be used to manage statistical indicators, data and users. On the other, it realizes the visualization of statistical data. Combining the theory of mathematical statistics and data analysis, the system is meant to dig some potential value, not only the superficial information. In this way, the function of data prediction and indicator evaluation will come true.The system is implemented according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. To begin with, prove the feasibility and determine the requirements. Considered transaction and user segmentation, the period of top-down analysis and design should be structured. Then, build the software and hardware environments, conduct the research with the popular technology. At last, complete the function and performance testing. In addition, find some aspects to be improved and finish the assessment report, via comparing to the original requirement list. On this occasion, the system will be optimized continually.
