With the national economic development, safety, high efficiency and intelligent become a trend of financial institutions. In order to improve the automation and intelligent level of cash processing, the financial automation industry continues to making innovation on intelligent equipment in our country. Integrated Processing Systems with the feature of multifunctional and strong parallel processing capabilities are developed based on optimized business processes of financial institutions. It is meet the needs of the modern bank. For example, the needs of increase in cash in circulation, clearing business socialization, standardized, HD component and traceable for cash processing. Therefore, the process of cash handling and processing capability of the device in bank currently are studied. And the view is proposed that a cash handling system is needed which has the characteristics of multi-task oriented, large capacity and traceable. From the perspective of the extended processing capabilities, multi-task work and the processing information to cash retrospective, the cash processing and system pre-distribution mechanism are been proposed, and the information processing system with multi-station, complex structure and multi-task is developed for tasks of information collection, task scheduling and information processing and analysis for each execution unit.The cash handling system combines the subjects of pattern recognition, computer network and automatic control. The fully automated sorting cash handling system has the capability of setting cash clearing, picking disability, binding, sealing, sorting, bundling bank notes in double cross, pre-tied plastic, labeling and tracing.The network architecture of this system consists of via Industrial Ethernet and serial bus. So the functions of multi-device control, state real-time feedback, data acquisition and storage, database query and statistics are achieved. In this paper the design is given to meeting the needs of multi-task and traceable for the system with Multithreaded Programming. Furthermore, the optimal model and key technologies of device configuration are given for the study to making this system scalable and sorting capability strongly. In summary, it is a good solution for improving the cash handling capacity effectively, reducing the risk of personnel involved and tracing back data guaranteed.
