Image communication between people is one of the most effective and simple way, so with the continuous development and progress of science and technology, more and more people use images to record things around. The development of mobile terminals is driving this trend, growing mobile storage space for image storage provides hardware support, the rapid development of the domestic 3G, 4G networks for the transmission of images to provide a fast track, high-pixel mobile phone camera provide technical support for people to shoot high-quality images, and so on. Behind the benefits, however, also have some troubles brought to the people? For example, the phone’s portability brings a high loss rate, resulting in leakage of privacy image stored in your phone. Furthermore, the image in the way of network transmission cannot avoid being malicious interception and illegal use, and so on. These problems became more acute over time posing in front of people. Therefore, solving the image information security is imminent.The main purpose of this paper is to solve the image problem of information security of the mobile terminal. Currently, the mobile terminals which use the Android operating system occupy the mainstream. Then, the article will study the mobile terminal under the Android platform. This article will study the image encryption technology and design an encryption algorithm. On the basis of this encryption algorithm developed on image encryption APP based on the Android platform. Users can encrypt images by this APP, to ensure the safety of the image information.In order to study the image encryption technology, the paper analyzes the research status of image encryption and related technologies. Then relevant knowledge of cryptography and chaos theory were analyzed. Image encryption technology was experimental compared. Thus presents an image encryption algorithm suitable for Android platform. Experiments show that the algorithm has higher security and faster encryption speed and suitable for Android mobile phones. This paper develops an Android APP on the mobile platform used in image encryption. The system is not only easy to install, suitable for most Android phone, but also user-friendly operation. Finally, the system uses the image encryption algorithm as a core part in it. So using the system to encrypt the image has the advantages of high security and timeliness.
