Acompany by continuous development of the integrated circuit and the improvement of the DSP theory, the DSP implementation of the audio processing system has become an important research subject. The digital audio processing system base on DSP has the advantages of high integration, flexible design, high reliability, programmable control and so on. Currently audio processing products base on DSP and related technologies are mainly monopolized by the United States and Japan. The gradual improvement of the living standards, people’s pursuit of music quality is also getting higher and higher. As a device that can improve the effect of music listening, the sound processor is more and more popular with non professionals.With the rapid development of technology, digital technology has deeply influenced people’s life, and it has many advantages than analog technology. The traditional audio technology has been unable to meet people’s requirements,the methods of digital audio processing mode has become an important research direction of audio technology. In many occasions, digital audio technology is gradually taking place of analog audio technology, digital audio processing is achieved by using digital filtering algorithm to transform the collected signal.The use of digital technology, it is bound to involve a lot of complex digital computing, the emergence and development of digital signal processor(DSP) just meet the requirement. DSP has many special structure can quickly achieve a variety of digital signal processing algorithm.This paper chooses two products of TI’s DSP to realize a variety of sound processing. Under the framework of the system, the hardware and software are analyzed and designed. First, in the part of hardware, the paper makes a detailed discussion,including system base on master CPU using DSP’s chip TMS320F2812 and TMS320VC33 as slave, in addict to the circuit design around audio coding decoding chip TLV320AIC23 is analyzed and discussed in detail. The design of dial switch and display circuit is studied. In terms of software, the classical Schroeder reverberation model is studied.We also designed several typical special sound effects, including echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, wow sound effect.At present, the system has been debugged in the laboratory, the performance index of the system has basically achieved the expected design requirements, and it has good practicability and popularization value.
