Space spectrum estimation is an important research direction in the array signal processing; especially the research of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation is the main subject, which has been widely applied in several areas such as radar, Sonar and communication etc. Sound source localization is the main task of array signal processing, the implementation basis of space filtering. And how to realize localization under certain condition has vast application value.Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is a method of finding component from multidimensional statistics. It extracts independent components only by observing statistics, without knowing source signal and mixed channel, which have potential practical value and broad application prospects.The main tasks of this paper as below:1. In the theory basis of array signal processing, analyzes microphone array signal processing module and topology structure with the characteristics of speech signal.2. Discusses several algorithm of array signal processing DOA estimation, analyzes and compares them through experiments, and then verifies the superiority of classic MUSIC algorithm. In the basis of traditional array signal processing DOA estimation, improves the algorithm, gets the more appropriate algorithm for microphone array voice source localization MUSIC, and rest the more realistic effect through experiments.3. How to apply ICA into array signal processing, especially how to apply ICA into DOA estimation are the key and difficult point in this paper. This paper also researches DOA in arrays by utilizing independent vector projection in ICA, obtained azimuth estimation about array signals.4. How to estimate signals' position from background noises, the key point which need to be resolved urgently is resolution of array. The blind estimation of DOA doesn't need array verification, direction of arrival and training array etc. In the basis of MUSIC voice source localization algorithm, applied ICA analytical method, it can get accurate DOA with simplified calculation. Through the experiments held by Matlab software, verified this method can get more accurate DOA estimation, also proved the feasibility and high efficiency of array voice source localization MUSIC algorithm based ICA.
