The Research And Implemantaion Of Database In Highway Based On GIS

GIS technology is closely related to the rapidly development of the computer technology, Since it was born, and has been adapt to our social life not only in some research project. It has been developed from the simple analysis software to the space information application software, Based on GIS technology, many new technologies has appeared, in addition, the GIS technology and other disciplines interact with each other, making the GIS technology not only a simple geographic information systems. With new technology developed, GIS technology has penetrated into many new areas.The research object of this paper depends on the 196km high-speed road managed by Wuhu Management Office. A large amount of investigation and field survey have been done at the beginning of the database construction, making sure that the project is feasible. In order to ensure data accuracy, all data comes from field visits.Geodatabase is a new integrated data storage technology, whose data structure support a variety of relational database, ArcGIS is a spatial database management engine, which can be an effective management to database,what’more, ArcGIS comes with Java API data interface for other applications, which can access and transfer data in a database. ArcGIS supports multi user concurrent access data and is a reliable tool for enterprise level database management. The database is based on data acquisition, the data is divided into basic data, dynamic data and other business data. Storage of this three kinds data are not at the same time, after the construction of the database, updating and adding date to the database is necessary. Spatial database and attribute database were separately established to construct the highway database, and finally associated with each other. Database construction involves the coordinate conversion, GPS positioning device used WGS-84 coordinates is adapt to the foundation of the data collection. BJ-54 coordinate is used in the data displayed on the map,coordinate transformation is necessary, northerly, in daily highway management process, due to the widespread adoption of the stake mark, as a place, the process comes from at the beginning of the highway construction. Conversion relationship between the establishment of BJ-54 coordinate and stake mark is accomplished by the measure of curve fitting. After the completion of the database, the application of the database relies on developing software management platform with database and GIS technology, eight subsystems were applied to the construction of highway management containing the highway department in the daily management,it can also improve the efficiency of highway management, and gives both to the construction of intelligent highway making up the short board in the process of China’s highway management, additionally,it’s a template role model.
