Industrial equipment is the gear of manufacturing production. Equipment maintenance, the diagnosis and prediction of equipment trouble are not only related to the development the factory, but also influence the benefit of the enterprise and production efficiency profoundly. Before the formation of the equipment trouble, there are always some fault characteristics. Through the analysis of its operating life and operating parameters, the potential hazards of the equipment can be eliminated maximally by combing the advanced technology and practical management. This modern equipment modernization management is information inspection of the equipment. On the basis of simple instrument, information inspection mainly makes use of human senses to follow predetermined standards to diagnosis the equipment in the process of production dynamically. Therefore, the dynamic state of equipment in real time can be controlled, the state information of equipment can be collected, the trouble and failure of equipment can be responded, and the safety and reliability of equipment operation can be ensured.In this thesis, we designed and realized information inspection of factory equipment on account of the project of The Development and Application of Copper Smelting Equipment Information Inspection System Based on IoT. The whole system contains client and server. The client is secondary development based on the Android system program and communicates with the server through JSON(JavaScript Object Notation) data interchange format. JSON adopts text form which is independent of any programming language so as to read and program easily. At the same time it is also easy for computers to parse and generate. Compared with XML, JSON has the characterists of data access and non-verbose. The Web server adopts LAMP framework and B/S mode. The function of web server mainly includes the processing and storage of the data uploaded by the client, the arrangement of tasks, and the inquiry of results, which constitute the complete system. The whole system was designed to improve the informationization level of the factory management, to realize the unified dispatching of the personnel and tasks, to promote the quality of management, and to ensure the daily production of the factory efficiently, orderly, and safely.Firstly, based on the practical application, this thesis analysed the fundamental functions of industrial equipment inspection system, offfered the system functions and solutions and so on. Meanwhile the system was divided into two major parts, the client and the server, and each part adopted modular development methods. Secondly, this thesis designed the client part in order to complete the software development of the user login and registration, the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag recording, the RFID tag scanning, the network communication, the data processing module and so on. The client is secondary development based on the Android system which has many advantages like interface-friendly, high operation efficiency, and high interaction fluency. Thirdly, this thesis designed the server part whose purpose is information management and data storage. The server contains the user login registration, task arrangement and query, history query, and data processing. B/S mode in the server has a simple and clear interface, which means users only need to access the browser rather than install the complicated client. Lastly, this thesis tested the whole function of the system. According to the author’s design thought, the test selected multiple test cases. Later this thesis operated communication test of the system. The results of all tests showed that the designed system satisfied requirements and goals of the design and the realization.
