In the test of radar receiver component circuit, traditional signal generating devices can not meet the different testing requirements caused by frequently changing of the tested radar components models and batches. A kind of multiple channels digital signal generator based on DDS technology is developed in this thesis, which uses MCU, CPLD, Flash storage device to generate various signals and have multiple output channels. So that it will meet the need of different circuit testing requirements. The software system developed with Java language is able to create various signals data and easy to operate and transplant.With many advanced technologies of various scientific fields, radar is an important scientific device in national defense industry. It always have big and complex systems, many different models and components. When we test the circuit of radar components, the ones of different batches or models have different requirements. Even for the same kind components, different one have different requirements as there maybe hundreds of them on one radar. It always happens that usual circuit testing method can not meet the need of requirements of different radar components. So one kind of signal generator that is able to solve those problems happened in actual radar component test is need.A kind of multiple channels digital signal generator based on DDS technology is introduced in this thesis. DDS technology has the advantages of various kinds of output signals, high definition of signal frequency, stable performance and short changing time. It is flexible to use CPLD and Flash storage device to realize the DDS technology. The cooperation of MCU and software system for writing data in the storage makes it easy to modify and promote the system. The design of multiple output channels will meet the need of most components test tasks and improve the efficiency.The most research of this thesis is listed as following:1.Research the background and usual methods of signal generating and signal synthesizer.2.Research operational principle of multiple channels digital signal generator based on DDS technology.3.Design the hardware system which realizes the function of multiple signals output using CPLD,MCU and Flash storage device.4.Design and develop the software control system with Java language.5.Test the multiple channels digital signal generator parameters.
