As a new application, high-speed photography by using a camera array has features of little volume and low expense compared with traditional ones with single lens. This paper demonstrates a system for capturing multiple frames using a dense camera of cheap 30fps CMOS image sensors. The structure of this paper is the principle of high-speed photography by using a camera array, the selection of array image format in storing and displaying and image deblurring algorithms of local motion image restoration and a novel modified cepstral based technique for blind estimation.Firstly, we introduce the principle of of high-speed photography by using a camera array in terms of the multiple camera array, high-speed photography from interleaved exposures, geometric alignment, radiometric calibration and overcoming the electronic rolling shutter.Secondly, we analyze that, compared with BMP and JPG, RAW image format is best fit to array image for integrity in transfer and accuracy in image processing. Finally, we discuss two of image deblurring algorithms, local motion image restoration and a novel modified cepstral based technique for blind estimation to attain array image deblurring. In domestic, high-speed photography by using a camera array has gained increasingly attention, and the achievements of this paper is expected to provide technical support for the industrialization of integration array type high-speed photography.
