With the progress of science and technology, micro positioning technology is gradually applied to all aspects of production and life, and the research on micro positioning system has become more in-depth and comprehensive. The piezoelectric ceramic used as the micropositioner has gradually attracted people’s attention because of its excellent properties. It can achieve precise positioning accuracy of nanometer using the magnetostrictive effect and piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric elements. It plays a vital role in the field of micro detection,precision machining and precision positioning.In this paper, starting from the control of the whole system, we have established mathematical modeling and analyzed theorety for every module of the system. And according to the theoretical analysis,we designed a hardware system used to the actual measurement. The result of this paper has certain scientific value and it can ensure that the set of research programs is easy to be transplanted to other systems and is suitable for most of the control places.This paper has introduced the significance of the research of piezoelectric ceramic micro displacement system, and viewed the domestic and foreign research status of micro control platform. It has deeply stadied the hysteresis and creep characteristics of the piezoelectric ceramic, and expounded its telescopic displacement principle, and next stablished mathematical modeling and analyzed the piezoelectric ceramic precision positioning system, and then put forward to the closed loop PID system as the control algorithm to improve the positioning precision of piezoelectric ceramic micro displacement system, and according to the creep characteristics of piezoelectric ceramics a feedforward creep model is built. At the same time, from the perspective of practical application, we designed a piezoelectric ceramic control system based on the closed-loop PID control algorithm. The system mainly includes the controllable piezoelectric ceramicdrive power supply design, micro displacement detection circuit PSD design and installation, micro displacement platform design, control system and communication system software. At the end of this paper, through the design of the software and hardware of the system, we have built a set of piezoelectric ceramic precision positioning system, and we have done lots of experiments for each module and the overall positioning effect, and then we analyzed the corresponding error and verified the reliability of the design theory.
