The world has entered into the era of big data and we need to use data analysis method to obtain the rich value contained in big data. Visualization can reveal data patterns briefly, thus it is an important means of data analysis. Since the rapid growth of data quantity, data visualization is facing great challenge.In this paper, we studied and implemented some key technology of data visualization under the environment of big data. First we proposed a visualization scheme based on big data platform. Using existing technologies, we can import the data into Hadoop platform, optimize data storage strategy in Hive and obtain data from hive. Then we can use it to visualize.Multidimensional sequential data and geographical data are common in many fields. As for multidimensional sequential data, we first analyzed its features and proposed a visualization scheme. In order to solve the problem of polyline overlapping, we used a visual clustering method based on parallel coordinates. In addition, we add some interactive function to reveal the pattern of data changes over time.As for geographical data, we also proposed a visualization scheme based on its features. We combined Baidu Map with multiple views to reveal all dimensions of data properties. When there are too many geographic area to draw on map, it takes a lot of time. To solve this problem, we proposed a method that loads data layer by layer.
