In recent years, with the rapid expansion of the scale of the drugstore, pharmacy drug quantity is numerous, the types of drugs also showed an exponential growth, which was accompanied by demand of information management of a large number of drug. Most of the drugs in pharmacy are fast consumer goods, which lead to a rapid inventory change, so there is a certain threshold for processing capacity management system of pharmaceutical distribution chain. Although function of most pharmaceutical distribution chain and sales system is powerful, the operation efficiency is relative low due to of various reasons. At the same time, due to the different feature among those drugstores, there are particularity and uncertainty in distribution and sales of pharmacy system. As a result, a simple, efficient, versatile, easy to expand the chain pharmaceutical distribution system plays a very important role, which can provide decision support for enterprise management, and to achieve maximum benefits of store managers.Generally speaking, a popular pharmaceutical chain distribution and sales system in the market have such function modules as: pharmaceutical sales management function, drug procurement management function, drug inventory management function and drug information query function. In this thesis, we also add user management system function and data management function to this system. Through the setting of these institutions, pharmacies can achieve accurate real-time management of inventory systems, real-time control of drug sales and profitability of pharmacy, besides; this system also provides a large number of data through the system background that can be used for the analysis of sales and profitability, then provide a strong support to decision-making management.In this thesis, the management mode of pharmaceutical distribution chain and sales was studied; and a pharmaceutical chain distribution and sales system reasonable solution was developed. The main functions the system realizes include user login function, pharmaceutical sales management function, drug inventory management function, user management functions, drug procurement management function, background data management function and drug information query function. The system is designed to meet the characteristics of each function module of low coupling, high cohesion; more specifically, each functional module can run independently, the system can run normally even in the absence of any one of the module function, which gives the system a good maintainability and scalability. Design and development of the system was preceded in the following phases: system requirements analysis, system modeling, system database design, system design and implementation of GUI, the function of the system module detailed design, system testing.The system uses Java programming language, Eclipse development tools, SQL Server database and UML design tools to complete development.
