Research And Development On 3D Printing Network Monitoring And Control System

In recent years, with the development of information technology and sensor technology, the combination of the Internet and manufacturing industry is becoming more and more closely. The application of Internet technology in the manufacturing system makes the manufacturing system more intelligent, which could improve the manufacturing efficiency of the manufacturing system.3D printing is now an important new manufacturing technology that has been widely used in many fields, such as prototype manufacturing and micro electro mechanical manufacturing.With the research on the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer, this paper constructed a 3D printing network monitoring and control system, designed to achieve remote, mobile, convenient monitoring and control of 3D printing equipment. The main research work of this paper includes:(1) Designed the overall system architecture. The software program of server resident program, PC client and mobile client were designed and demonstrated.(2) Completed the multithreaded server resident program development, mainly using the IOCP model (I/O Completion Port), which ensured a good performance of the concurrent processing of resident program. Defined format of the data packet and C/S(Client/Server) communication.(3) Programmed the client software (including the PC client and mobile client). PC client software focused on the print control function of the local module and the network module including remote printer control, print file transfer, video monitoring and other functions. Mobile client mainly researched on the functions of user login and personal information management, online printer list display and print file transfer.(4) Did experiments including the PC client function experiment, Mobile client function test, Android software performance test and server load capacity test.
