Study And Implementation Of The Desktop Sharing System Based On VNC In Wireless Environment

In the mobile Internet era, the use of mobile phones, tablet PCs, notebook computers and other mobile terminals has been accepted as the work tools. To some extent, People’s work and life has been separated from the mobile terminal equipment. The question discussion or meeting that everyone or the staffs use the sharing desktop including PPT files or videos has gradually become the rigid demand in anytime or anywhere. The desktop also can be shared even without the projector or under the situation that there are no enough meeting rooms. Based on this demand, the paper studies the desktop sharing technology and system in the wireless environment, designs and implements the desktop sharing system named Synchrony Control system base on VNC(Virtual Network Computing). A plurality of mobile terminals can share the PC or notebook desktop contents at the same time through the wireless environment.The Synchrony Control system is developed on the basis of VNC open source software. The TCP connection is transformed into UDP multicast to achieve the purpose of a plurality of mobile terminals to fast share the desktop.The main work and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of the existing application requirements and related technologies and systems, a design scheme of wireless desktop sharing system based on UDP multicast is proposed.(2) A VNC based desktop sharing system-Synchrony Control is designed and implemented. And the system is optimized in the data frame size, data packet transmission frequency and packet compensation mechanism, etc.(3) In the Synchrony Control system test shows that the system fully meets the technical requirements of the product, can be applied to the actual work, verify the effectiveness of the scheme and the applicability of the system.
