Research & Implementation Of The Digital Technology Used On Woodcarving Decorative Regarding Shanxi Traditional Residence

CAD(computer aided design)on wooden artwork of Shanxi traditional residence has been used in some extent such as architecture design.To protect Shanxi cultural resource.We conducted research of digital technology on Shanxi traditional.The interface is developed using WPF and on C# VS 2010 platform.The research includes three aspects: image division,abstraction of image division is to characteristics and reformation of image texture.The module of image division is to separate interested area from background image by Laplas variant;analysis of image texture is to statistically study the characteristics of the area(i.e.grey level distribution function),by which we developed the reformation system of the texture;reformation is achieved by studying various linear combination.Through above approach we came to a more thorough understanding of the Shanxi traditional residence wooden artwork as well as the CAD technology on image procession.Object-oriented language used in our study can improve system efficiency,divide and abstract large amount of image characteristics,and reform the texture very quick,and thus to successfully contribute to the protection of Shanxi local cultural resource.
