Design And Implementation Of College Educational Administration Management System Based On PHP+MySQL

Nowadays as the high speed development of information technology and the arrival of big data era, people’s working way is more and more informationization, and digitization.Internet + has become the hottest topic now. Management information systems(MIS) is a system which composes of people, computer, Internet, and so on,and it is a system which can collect information, transmission, storage, processing, maintenance. It must take place former large, complex hand-operation.With the increasing development of computers and the rapid development of Internet and the wide application of databases, it is possible that the Intranet is used for campus teaching administration. Not only can it reduce workload and improve office efficiency, but also enable to more focus and manage effectively for distributed educational information.This paper mainly describes the whole process of the development of teaching management system in colleges and universities. The system is based on the actual needs of the teaching administration in our University, and it is an efficient operation management system based on Internet. Its main functions of the system include: school management,curriculum management, result management, teaching management, and evaluation teaching management. It is designed specifically for our university teaching management. The paper is based on the development of teaching management system in colleges and universities, and respectively introduces the choice of system requirements, system platform, database designation, system design and process how to achieve. The system adopts the popular b/s mode, based on three-layer network computing architecture,and it is designed by using the international mainstream Web development technology PHP and safe and stable performance of My SQL database. The system consists of three main modules: administrator control module, teachers management modules and students management module. In this paper, it describes data entry and data processing in detail. Data entry function can be inputted batch according to users’ personalized demands, and can be changed in detail after entry, as to fulfill largely fast entry function of data. Data processing can deal with basic student information,student result fuzzy inquire and print function. Teachers can enter student scores, and interact with students; Students can view their own grades and rank, take part in teaching evaluation,and interact with the instructor. Administrators can make the overall management work,including limits of authority management, student information management, resultmanagement, data statistics, database backups.Educational management system in colleges and universities is an important part of the construction of the advanced school information management system, and is key link to improve the quality of teaching management and build famous high-level universities.Digitization and networking of the educational administration are also important parts for modernization and informatization of schools’ office.Content of the educational management system in colleges and universities is very critical for schools’ policymakers and administers, so the universities’ educational administration management system should be able to provide adequate information and efficient queries means for users. But people have been using the traditional manual management way all the tine, which there are many defects. Such as: poor security, and low efficiency, about the other way, it will produce a large number of files and data for a long time,and at the same time it brings a lot of difficult to update and maintain.With the improvement of science and technology, computer science matures increasingly,and its powerful feature is recognized by people. It has entered all areas of people society and is playing an increasingly important role.As a part of computer application, academic information management by using the computer has the advantage of as compared to traditional manual management mode. For example: search rapid, high reliability, large storage capacity, security, easy to find, fast data statistics, low cost. These advantages can greatly improve the efficiency of educational administration, as well as scientific and standardized management, an important condition for convergence with the world.Of course, from the era birth of computer to today’s rapid advance in accordance with Moore’s, it has had decades of history on research teaching management means tending to informatization management. The advancement of technology 、 technical development 、environmental change、 the change of teaching methods, and all these bring new challenges and research for causing problems, and it need further upgrade for the system functions.
