With the development of the society, the role and application of the camera has made great development, it has been more than satisfied with using the camera to obtain information of the image, the more hope to be able to use computer processing the images to obtain the useful information in the image efficiently. We know that the points on the two-dimensional image match with some points in the three-dimensional world, in order to get the information in the image accurately, we need to set up the camera imaging model, the parameters of the model are the parameters of the camera, the process of solving the parameters of the camera is called the calibration of the camera.According to the focal length, camera lens can be divided into three categories: telephoto lenses, standard lens and wide angle lens. Telephoto lenses can take photo for the goal which is far away from you. But the view of this kind of lens is small and inconvenience taken nearby scenery. Standard lens which is the most common in our daily life can get the images which conform to the habit of human eye observation. The view of wide angle lens is very big. The image taken by the wide angle lens can take more information than others. But we need calibration the lens and correction the image for the distortion of the image. It is always used in the monitoring system.This article will mainly study the calibration of the ultra wide Angle lens(fisheye lens), the main contents: Study Zhang of classical calibration method in deep, and realize the method showing the result of the experiment. Complete the calibration of the distortion coefficients finally. In the process of calibration, firstly study the common camera model, and select the perspective projection model. With straight line is still as the linear and angular point as the intersection between straight lines under the model, the fisheye camera calibrated by using a single checkerboard fisheye images. Finally, we studied the Bird’s Eye view System. We get the parameters of the camera model by the method proposed in this article. We correct the image, transform the image and splice the image by using these parameters, then we will get a complete Bird’s Eye view image. In order to be able to realize the real-time performance, we obtain the mapping table between the finishing image and the four images. We can get the finishing image quickly by the mapping table.
