With the development of remote sensing technology and high-resolution satellite technology, nowadays there is an increasing demand for the usage of remote sensing. As the big data technology becomes more mature, there is more opportunity for us to try. There are some differences, which compare with the traditional web data. Moreover, the remote sensing is a special field, in order to check the data; we have to rely on some professional tools, which will take much more obstacle. With the development of high-resolution satellite technology in China, GaoFen series have already launch many satellites, the remote sensing data is soaring, and the demand of the storage becomes urgent.We designed and developed an elastic visualization remote sensing storage system, which combines the NoSQL technologies and the research of remote sensing in our laboratory. Focus on the problem of the existing system; we implement the system based on HBase that will storage huge amounts of image tiles. At the same time, this kind of design also makes the best of the scalability of the HBase. Then we publish the data by the WMS service that is a standard service. This kind of service not only satisfies the user, but also plays a greater value. The good storage model ensures the image data have a good performance in the space dimension and time dimension. The server provide the data service, we also develop the client to receive the data. In order to let the user have better experience, we use the cache system to ensure the user have fluent operation. According to the experiment result, our system has a high performance, great scalability, which can apply to the remote sensing storage.
